What was the scenario before you started working together?
Kay had a vision to bring her collection to life through a showcase to exhibit her work to her ideal target audience but did not have the time or expertise in event planning and management. She also wanted to pay respect to her late grandma who the brand is named after by raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s society.
This was a unique opportunity to raise the brand and profile of Angel Couture by Kay Heeley.
What were their goals?
Their goals for the showcase were not only to showcase the brand but also to raise funds and exposure for the Alzheimer’s society; in memory of Kay’s grandma Annie who is the inspiration behind the Angel Couture brand.
Why did they choose to work with you?
We were reintroduced to the Angel Couture by Kay Heeley through the Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, and they recruited our services because they wished to showcase their fashion brand to a wider market but never felt they had the confidence to do so until they met Zoe of Ask Zoe (formally known as Fab Events).
They also decided to bring Zoe on board due to Kay’s expectations being extremely high with such event. But by having Zoe on board and not having the stress and the responsibility it took to organise it; they felt they could move forward and go ahead the showcase within Leeds to their desired audience.
We believed they choose to work with us not only through recommendation but also through confidence within our network that we deliver on our promise and the whole experience was a pleasure and in the words of our client ‘no task or request was too much trouble’ and here is the testimonial left after the Angel Couture Showcase took place.
“Zoe Wadsworth from Ask Zoe formally known as Fab Events, planned a huge showcase for my bespoke fashion brand Angel Couture this year for over 230 people. She was so professional and took every task on board… listened to my ideas and made it work within my budget. I pushed Zoe so hard to create my dream and she remained so calm and patient the whole way through of the 18 months of planning. I would recommend Zoe to anyone planning any type of event… nothing is ever too much trouble and she cares so much for every client. I class her not just a business associate, but now a very dear friend.
Thank you Zoe.“
