The Ruby Network is headed up by Mrs Sarah Drew who is one of the top leaders within her region within FM. FM are an amazing company who offer affordable products in the healthcare, fitness, cleaning, and personal care sector; plus, so much more.

What was the scenario before you started working together?

The scenario before we were introduced to Sarah through a personal recommendation from Anne Richardson; was that Sarah was looking at ways she could better streamline her business, so it became easier to manage and for it to be more profitable too.

Due to the growth Sarah had created through her team members it was a vision to get her business to the next level and grow her team more sustainably offer the next 12 months.

What were their goals?

Sarah’s goals were to look at ways she could make her 4,500 strong team at the time, work together better and  work smarter collectively and not harder over the next few months and for 2021.

The goal was to increase the team size to 5,000 and to generate more income to reach the next level in the business.

This is where we discussed making the business more streamline and adding more marketing elements to the business such as events and groups/communities to communicate for effectively and grow the business even further.

Why did they choose to work with you?

Sarah chooses to work with ourselves through a personal recommendation from Anne Richardson. Who had been a fellow networker for the past few years and also experienced one of our free discovery sessions to assist her with moving her business forward?

Following this session, Sarah and Anne has a discussion on who could best support her with her vision for the business and this is where we were kindly recommended by Anne.

Upon review with Sarah, we also asked why she chose to work with us; and here is her reply:

“Zoe was introduced to me by recommendation by someone who I used to work with. At the time my business was experiencing huge growth and from a time management point of view I was struggling to have a strategic overview on how to move my business forward whilst taking advantage of the time freedom I had worked so hard for.

After our introductory meeting it was very clear that Zoe knew exactly what I wanted from my business, how I could get there and the tools in which to use which has resulted in monthly accountability meetings.

What was the process?

The process following the personal recommendation consisted of arranging an initial chat to get to know one another through Zoom.

Then following this conversation and when we were able during the pandemic to meet; we did, and I offered Sarah a free 30-minute discovery session to ensure I could help and was the best fit for her business.

This followed into Sarah booking a 1:1 strategy session with action plan and accountability thereafter on a month-by-month basis, which we continued over an 18 month period.

Have the goals changed and/or been achieved since working with Ask Zoe?

Sarah’s goals have changed since working together as by receiving the following results her goal is now about sustainability and making sure the team develop and more investment is placed in team training and further events to ensure the business is sustainable and more profitable.

This has allowed Sarah to not only achieve her original goal in the business, but generated enough further to invest in two more ventures. Them being a dog walking business and a clothing brand.

What were the results?

We base our results on the feedback and return our customer informs. Which were:

“Zoe has really helped me see outside the box and think of other ways in which I can build an income using my skills which is one of the things I really wanted to push, and whilst things haven’t planned out due to Covid restrictions, we have lots planned for the back end of this year.

We have also looked at streamlining the recruitment side of my business which is the part that takes up most of my time, this part will be going live soon and i cannot wait to see the results from this.

Working alongside Zoe has also enabled me to connect to other local small business which work really well and again looking forward to networking with more of these in the future.

I also feel that having Zoe and Fab really helps with getting my ideas a reality and with Zoe’s help it really keeps me on track with what I am doing each month.

Plus, as mentioned above Sarah’s goals at the beginning was to reach a team size of 5,000 and become more profitable to reach the next level in her business.

This has now been achieved as the goals were set to be achieved in 12 months, when in fact Sarah within one month achieved the next level in her business and created herself a £33,000 a month income; plus, her team is now 5,500 plus strong within six; which is an amazing achievement.

However, we also base the return on how we make our customers feel and from the above review we are glad to see they felt valued, and our services were able to help them grow beyond their expectation through hard work, determination, and a good quality strategy session.
