Meeting through a national network organization, Zoe and Michelle have been working together through the Ask Zoe brand since October 2022 through 1:1 support and retainer support through accountability and access to the hub.

This case study demonstrates how Michelle is feeling about the process and support so far.

What was the scenario before you started working together with Ask Zoe?

The scenario prior to working with Ask Zoe was Michelle being overwhelmed by her role in the new area of marketing & the complexity of it. Michelle felt unclear about how best to get her marketing message clear and direct for her target audience.

Originally it was mainly to gain clarity on this and the know-how on how to market and make it simple for the audience to understand. But the second part of this was to do with generating a service that the target audience wanted to buy such as group coaching. Alongside the being lean products which were the book and lean pac.

What were their goals (from the customer’s perspective)?

The original goals were to attract 10 – 12 people to the group coaching program following the first 1:1 session which provided Michelle with a half-day strategy session to place a clear plan in place for this outcome. However, after the first month, Michelle noticed her target audience had changed and she wished to go down more of the exclusive/1:1 route.

As Michelle is the perfect example of the methodology of being lean, she soon realized is that she wanted the business to work smarter and not harder. Hence, pivoting & focusing her attention on the top of the sales funnel with her marketing selling high quantities of the products (80%) before moving the customer along the journey to group or 1:1 support (20%).

Why did you choose to work with Ask Zoe?

Michelle met Zoe through a national networking organization, and we choose to work with Zoe due to the recommendations through this network and her experience. We also attend some of Zoe’s keynote speaking events whether this be online or in person via a national exhibition

The level of attention to detail was the same that matched several recommendations within the network which resulted in Michelle employing their services for 1:1 consulting and accountability via monthly sessions and access to the online community called the hub.

What was the process and how have you benefited since working with Zoe on a 1:1 level?

The business strategy evolved from group coaching, to 1:1 support and then to pushing forward with products first. Through Zoe’s support, I have been able to gain clarity in each session and have confidence in the progression of the process. She ensures that I am able to connect the dots before moving on to the next goals or questions I have in reference to my business.

With her extensive business network, if there is a question Zoe doesn’t know the answer to, she will be open and clear on this followed by introducing me to someone who can support me. An example of this can be seen in my amazon query on adverts and training. Zoe was able to connect me with two companies who were able to support me. Ensuring the desired objective is met and I get the ultimate return on investment in value.

What results have you seen so far?

Results so far have been mainly clarity and value from Zoe’s marketing expertise, knowledge and information provided in each session. This has enabled me to make better & more confident decisions moving forward. I have also asked Zoe to attend a training session with me with other experts to ensure I get the desired outcome, and this has been super useful for all parties involved.

Looking forward to learning more and gaining more results as the relationship progresses over the next six months of the 12-month program.

What would you say are the main advantages of working with Ask Zoe and would you recommend their services to others?

The main advantages are the accountability and clarity you gain each month. Plus, Zoe offers remote support too via her online community and email. So, if she isn’t available I can always ask others within the community.

The support is so valuable due to the stage I am at in my business, and I would recommend Zoe’s support to others in my network

What do you hope to achieve because of working with Ask Zoe long term (in the next 12 months)?

Zoe’s initial detailed market research & competitiors analysis formed a solid foundation & guidance for decision making allowing for flexibility to evolve originally identified goals to change in line with my personal circumstances & objectives.

Currently still evolving short to long-term goals are as follows:

  • Short Term – Refine my personal brand and key messaging enabling it to be relayed to customers through a new website and all marketing messages
  • Medium Term – Identify existing and create new products and opportunities for monetisation through the website with a focus on products first 80% then services 20%
  • Long Term – Build a community of brand ambassadors and create a buzz around the subject of Being Lean
  • Upsell – Evolve the BeingLean website to be a focal point, that it become the first and 1-stop shop for all everyday lean interests.

I am confident in achieving the above goals through my 1:1 support with Ask Zoe over the next 12 months. I expect this to happen through leveraging Zoe’s marketing expertise & network in helping me drive & herd strong quality traffic to the Being Lean website.
