What was the scenario before you started working together?

Prior to meeting with Zoe I was really unclear about how to market my business, I read books, I listened to people but really none of it told me how to actually ‘do’ marketing. Yes the theory is all well and good and I get the principles but I still wasn’t turning any of this knowledge into action to take my business forward. I guess I was just procrastinating, tickling marketing around the edges but not gaining any real traction.

What were their goals?

To become known in the local area as the go-to person for pragmatic advice and support around HR and staff development issues particularly for small and medium sized businesses.
To gain clarity of purpose, be visible and confident to sell my services around my brand and the creativity I have for the development of people and business.

Why did they choose to work with you?
I chose to worth with Ask Zoe based on a referral from a member of a networking partnership who felt that Zoe would be able to give me the clarity I needed and be able to support me to navigate through my marketing needs.

What was the process?

As mentioned above, the first initial conversation came through a referral contact who felt we would be a good fit due to the problems Simon was experiencing within the business and marketing strategy. Plus, Fab’s simple no jargon approach to help businesses move forward with the same difficulties.

After the first initial meeting; we booked in a discovery session to discuss options available to help Simon and the 1:1 strategy session was chosen; followed by keep in touch sessions. Which allows goals and targets to be reached on a month by month basis.

Have your goals changed since working with Ask Zoe?

My goals haven’t changed, what has changed is how I see myself and my business and the clarity that I have to confidently sell Gundog HR & Development to the marketplace.

What were the results of your time with Ask Zoe?

I am still with Zoe and I do feel that I still have a lot to learn, and I need to hold myself accountable for my actions and inactions. By maintaining a monthly conversation and support during the month I can ensure that I am moving forward in attracting clients. I still have a way to travel but my confidence is growing, and I feel that I now deserve to be in the marketplace with clarity of purpose and a strategy to deliver me and my services to others.
